Great workshop on Friday. Looking forward to more. Thanks to all the yogis that came out to practice. I certainly left with some new information and a couple things to work on. - Laura H.

This Friday, October 16th, from 6pm - 8pm, the Dayton Yoga Club will host our first workshop taught by the awesome Ross Stambaugh! Fresh from a summer spent in Mysore India, Ross will focus on how to maintain structural integrity in your Ashtanga (or any other) yoga practice. The evening will include instruction, practice, some Q&A and snacks. Don't worry if Ashtanga is not your regular practice. Ross is great fun and makes class accessible to all students. $5 drop-in still applies. This is a bargain at any price. Hope to see you there. Bring your friends! Ross Stambaugh is RYT200 Practice Yoga graduate. Ross has been practicing Ashtanga yoga since 2007 after a spectacular college swimming career, (not really) and eight years as an international judo competitor (laughable). He has studied with Tim Miller, Richard Freeman, Taylor Hunt, and Matthew Darling along with Saraswati Jois in Mysore India. "Great teachers are great, but the best teachers are the ones in front of you right now, everyday, willing to work with you. Most often, it's yourself working on yourself." |
